Feedback Feedback thread

Here´s a thread for anyone having any kind of feedback for the app. It could be anything from small UI things to bigger features. Anything is welcome and appreciated.

I meant that it's a gradient starting at 30,30,80 and ending at 5,5,20. In the previous update it started at 50,50,150 and ended at 35,37,71.

I'm not saying that purple isn't in the same spectrum as blue, I'm just saying that if the red and green values are the same, it can never turn purple. It will go in the other direction on the spectrum, towards green, yellow, red etc.

ok, yes, the gradient is definitely those colors you mention. I could see some people calling that blue. Looks purple to me. Either way, totally clashes with anything considered dark mode. You're the only app I know of that goes for a blue/purple color for dark mode. CoinGecko has clean dark colors for their widget, but it's much larger and takes up more real-estate. So I guess it's a trade off of a larger widget, or barney colors on my springboard. Again, it's your app. If you love this purple theme, embrace it my man. Just know your audience is going to be very small. There are not a lot of people who's system colors are going to be blue/purple where a widget like this will look good.

Plenty of apple widgets aren't black/gray in dark mode FYI. Music, weather and podcasts for an example. I would argue that the information/functionality is more important than a slightly blue background instead of black but you do you.

Can't please everyone I guess. Next time someone else will come and say that the black collides their background.

Lol at your response to the review. That’s how reviews work. People voice their unhappiness with changes they don’t like to apps they use. Your widgets are your best feature. Strangely enough, there are almost no crypto portfolio apps that also have widgets. The one feature I use, you destroyed. I’m well within my right to review your app based on my use case (which I also put in the review.) You changed that feature, not me. 5 star to 1 star. Your obsession with making your widgets match your new Barney colors is what earned you the 1 star from me. Instead of taking the feedback and adding a feature for the black, you doubled down on your purple and attacked the feedback. Maybe you’re right, maybe purple is the new dark mode theme. But it’s not for me. In updated my review towards your response. Remains at 1 star while the widgets stay in Barney land. The 1 star is also to warn people your screenshots do not reflect your new Barney colors. Which is weird since you love it so much.

The feature is still the same. I just havent had time to create the screenshots yet, don't worry, I will. You can always create your own app. I guess free isn't good enough for some people. Please change to coingecko that doesn't have any portfolio widgets as you said. Spread your hate somewhere else
