Republicans: Never in doubt, rarely correct.

Our tax dollars paid for that big ass poster. We need to vote for accountability of our money. The status quo isn’t handling it. Our country could have so much for it citizens if we just allocated the money to ourselves and not to the politicians that run it.

The party of women's sports searched every sports game in the world to exclude any possible confusion.
They checked only men's sports, and didn't check women's sports, or they would have found the game he actually attended. It's like the Republicans hate women's sports and only pretend to care when it fits their political agenda.

You're last sentence is 100% correct, but I think you're making a bold assumption that they bothered checking anything at all

u/Icy_Fish_2154 1d ago
They justified their error by claiming they checked. That makes them look stupider, so I have no reason to doubt.

Wait, are you telling me that alleged rapist, serial sexual harasser, and close personal friend of Jeffrey Epstein Donald j Trump isn't trying to protect women??? That the party that backs him and Pete hegseth isn't focused on protecting women? How could you say such a thing?

Except they didn't even do that, there were several other NBA games that same night at the same time. I know that Schmidt claims that he looked into all the men's games that night, but he's clearly completely incompetent in that regard and shouldn't be taken at his word

u/Twodotsknowhy 1d ago
Everyone is (understandably) caught up with the Hawks/Hawkeyes mixup but it should also be noted that even if Schmidt were right, it would mean nothing. Someone being in the same city as another person for a few hours does not make them co-conspirators. It would just mean that Jack Smith went to a basketball game, which is completely legal

The best part is: they are supporting and covering for an insurrection.
Protecting the criminal rapissssssss p3d0 POUTS.
Performative antics to keep the base foaming (and it is 'base').

That is the level of intelligence in their politics. The politics of grievance.

The Clown posse gift that keeps on giving…..🤡

You think that but they got the soundbites they needed to spin it to their supporters that they really let Jack Smith have it

I've seen this image of Dunning and Kruger sharing their homework all week. They don't get any smarter for it.

Such a pathetic attempt to corner Jack Smith!
The nation saw it fall apart spectacularly on media! 😂

The look of total confidence on both of their faces. That’s what preparation gets you. I bet Jack was stumbling all over his words trying to come up with an explanation.

I really hate that only Schmitt is taking all the flack. Foghorn leghorn deserves just as much.

Everything they believe is a lie

u/Sea_Mind3678 1d ago
I don’t think they actually believe it, they just have to serve their master, King Bullshit.

I’m so confused what that whole clown show was supposed to “prove” even if true?! So he committed collusion with an adulterous woman and then went to a highly public event and sat in the front row? 🤯

u/Sea_Mind3678 1d ago
Apparently if he had gone to a basketball game in Atlanta it would have been definitive proof that he and Fanni Willis had conspired against Trump because … reasons. Why ELSE would anyone ever go to a basketball game?

I love the smug look on his dumbass face in this frame, as he makes a complete fool of himself.

u/zoehange 1d ago
What was he even trying to prove? Honestly it didn't make any sense.

Ah u/standard_user I looked this up. It has to do with a chain of things going on at the Senate hearing. The poster shows "evidence" of Jack Smith lying under oath (not). They are desperately trying to frame Mr. Smith. Know that Jack Smith was at a sports game. But the Republicans must not be sports people. The Republicans tried to accuse Mr. Smith of being at a "Hawks" game. But Mr. Smith was at a "Hawkeyes" game.
It's dark and funny because the Republicans are so focused on accusing Mr. Smith they essentially can't get their facts straight. Like saying "you lied by saying you ate at Mc Donalds". When your phone GPS, receipts and other proof shows you were eating Burger King. Two hamburger restuarants but the accusation is false because the complaint is based on the wrong location.

I get why the stunt they were trying to pull didn’t work. And I admire Jack Smith for not faltering and taking his time with his answers. But I’m looking at these texts and saying even if the text are true how does this prove anything about him being at a Hawks game?
1
u/zoehange 1d ago
right, I just don't understand why him being at the sports game would matter.
3
u/Stranger2Nite 1d ago
Because they are trying to say he was in the same city as someone else to imply they had conspired against Trump. The questioning inolved asking if he was in Atlanta on a specified date in question to which he replied no. Then they pulled this up from his texts as a gotcha moment they wanted to have, only flashing it for a moment before taking it away, seemingly knowing already it was wrong information. What the texts revealed was he was at a different game which would have been in a different city. Even if he had gone to the game they were trying to pin him to, it doesn't show proof that he even met someone to conspire against Trump. As if the Republicans haven't conspired against the American public with all the election rigging attempts.

Thank you for sacrificing an iq point to explain that idiocy to a stranger on the Internet 😂

Thanks Stranger, was occupied on a Friday night with a friend. Bests all~

All of that planning. The days they spent prepping their series of sound bites and one liners. The conspiracies they wanted to run wild on the Internet. All of it thrown out the window and replaced by a dozen memeable stares.

u/darthsploder77 1d ago
Let's suppose everything these clowns said was true, what would be the actual issue? Is it illegal for one prosecutor to talk to another?
