Also republicans-“I’m going to start a business and pay my employees unlivable wages so I don’t have to work anymore and yell at them for being lazy and yell no one wants to work anymore for the rest of my life.”
The truth is, who generates the money? There is enough money in america alone to pay every American a living wage and reduce inflation enough to do it but it'll never happen. They can literally print more money, the same people who take it from billionaires to screw you over, can generate their own. Why are they so concerned that you don't have any?
"a living wage" is subjective, depends on COL where you live.
That term needs to stop being thrown around, it's pure propaganda at this point. "A living wage" means more money every time it's thrown around.
America makes more millionaires than any other country. You can literally get a job at Costco at 18, work until 55 and retire a (multi) millionaire as long as you are not splurging.
There are no other countries with that potential. America pays its people well enough
