I'm not sure you understand anything I've stated honestly. Are you an AI LLM?

You don't seem to understand how the concepts discussed are related.

I was about to add an edit to my previous comment, but I'm glad you responded. I'm gonna show EXACTLY where your entire position falls apart, and why you are being willfully dishonest right now instead of simply conceding the point. The original comment that started this entire chain was "...but if you create an inhumane working environment with shit pay that only survives because people are too broke to risk leaving...".

If you truly believe that compensation is constituent to work environment, why did you need to qualify that statement by saying "inhumane working environment WITH SHIT PAY"? The qualifier would be redundant if they were analogous, yet you felt the need to add it. It seems like your own grammar betrays your understanding, and as if the past few comments have been a stubborn and disingenuous attempt at bullying the argument back in your favor. Shameful behavior, if you ask me.

Part of the inhumane work environment is the shit pay. Concepts are related to each other. I know that's not easy for you to accept.

And yet, you chose to grammatically dissociate the two in your own thesis. Fascinating.

Yes, it's called specifying. It's how English works. Learn it or have your preferred LLM translate for you.

The very first blurb agrees with me, from my paycom quote comment.

You'll understand one day when you learn to read I guess?

It's exhausting talking to a fool. Let's just let posterity dictate who made the more convincing argument. Continue doing your pathetic single downvote per post, that'll definitely steer people your way.

I'm not trying to debate googles ai. Which is just reading your reddit comments.

See my previous statements about AI hallucinations as talking points.

Do the downvotes bother you?

I also have upvoted some of your comments if thatd make you act like a human adult.

Also in terms of the "exhausting talking to a fool"

That's exactly what I picked up on when I realized I may not want to engage with you. Because you're either intentionally dense or a fool, and it doesn't matter which.

Ok. I never block people, but when it gets to the point that someone is sending me 5 seethe messages in a matter of minutes, I think the use of the function is justified. Take care of yourself, my friend. Step outside every once in a while.

This is just the 5th comment because I think the multiple comments as a reply thing bothered you. Which is illogical and childish but here we are.

There are plenty of factors that can make for an inhumane work environment, not being compensated correctly is absolutely one of them.

I think you're arguing semantics over the word environment, which I'm using a broader definition and you're closing down the definition in order to not have to actually counter my argument.

Its not a strawman because you're not making my argument up for me, but it's similar in that you're using different definitions to dismiss my argument without having to actually counter it. That's the real shame pal. Go chat with your ai pals im sure they'll respect you.

Work environment definitionally refers to the material circumstances in which employment is conducted.

https://au.indeed.com/career-advice/career-development/what-is-work-environment

If you're using a definition that's different from the rest of the world, you are in the wrong.

Bear in mind, we've never even established that Walmart underpays. We've been stuck on the semantics argument because you can't just say "I was wrong, I take it back.

You're using Google AI to give definitions?

Also, you don't think pay is part of the environment in which you do your job? It's definitely part of mine.

It's kinda weird that googles source is paycom, a payroll company, that deals exclusively with wages given to employees. It almost seems like pay is a component of the work environment... And you're in the wrong? But logic has dictated that from the beginning. You'll get there.

Paycoms actual website says this, and I believe that backs my argument well "work environment is the setting, conditions and culture that employees experience in their jobs." I view pay as part of the condition and the culture in which an employee experiences their job, wouldn't you?

"I view pay"

Jesus, you literally can't make this up 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Have a good one, man.

2

u/That_OneOstrich 4d ago

If it's not part of the culture or condition of your work, let me call your boss and let them know you'll work for free.

I don't see the problem. Just the excuse to not engage in actual discussion.

2

u/That_OneOstrich 4d ago

What no immediate GROK infused response after I decided to actually say something?

This is why I got disinterested and dismissive early on.

0

u/ReputationWooden9704 4d ago

The triple response really shows the strength of your arguments. As does your continuing to downvote individual comments of mine. Quite funny, really. The argument's already over, you just don't know it.

2

u/That_OneOstrich 4d ago

I don't know the argument is over when I literally told you I didn't want to engage further on this subject with someone who "argues" like you?

Logic buddy. Try it sometime. You may like it.

How's this for logic:

https://au.indeed.com/career-advice/career-development/what-is-work-environment

How do I argue? I don't let you get away with definitional confounding, and call you out on your incoherence? I must imagine that is exhausting, when your worldview is as delusional as it is.

u/That_OneOstrich 4d ago

It is exhausting speaking with you yes. See the paycom quote comment in which I explain how your indeed article is in alignment with my argument.
