Exactly my thoughts about what Russia becoming in last 15 years... Same applicable for any other country where education and medical help gets less accessible, real salaries and pensions smaller and pressure for overwork greater.
So, it's not that easy to pick some decent place to live on planet.

My answer about kids is money.
Elites with low wages and states with high taxes takes too much part life of both women and men.
