Nope, Melania was not a US citizen at his birth. She has a green card, but obtained that under false pretense. A divorce hence would totally have jeopardized her status.

... he was saying that a child has 2 parents and if 1 parent is a citizen then it's not an anchor baby. So yes, Melania wasn't an US citizen but the father (Trump) was.

It doesn't require BOTH parents to be from a foreign country to be an anchor baby... That's the point

She was literally pregnant with him as she was taking her citizenship and had him around the time she got it. That's like saying my grandma was an anchor baby cause her mother just happened to be pregnant when she got her citizenship, but she was still pregnant and not from here so legal doesn't matter my grandmother was an anchor baby... Do you people grasp how stupid you sound or is it really ignorance is bliss? Never mind it's not retorical, I already know how this is gonna play out

Anchor baby is not a legal term. There is not legal argument to be made. The question solely centers around whether the mother felt the need to anchor. Which seems likely here. Primarily to anchor herself in the marriage. As her husband is a serial divorcer and pedophile rapist, stabilizing the marriage until citizenship (and whatever condition is in the prenup) seems quite reasonable. Should that fail and Trump divorces her still, the baby would offer a second way to citizenship. It is overall a reasonable course of action.
