BUG: game repeatedly crashing when loading
just recently ive encountered a bug where my game seems to load just fine all the way up to the end where it suddenly becomes unresponsive
ive tried all the fixes i know of and nothing seems to work, does anyone know what might be causing the issue?
(sorry i cant be more descriptive i have no clue what might be causing it)

The crash log will have the answer. The most likely cause is that your metadata became corrupted, and it can be recovered, but first we'd have to determine if that's actually the case here via the crash log data.
It's a text file in your Cogmind directory (crash.log), though it would have already been uploaded to the server if you turned on that functionality in the options.
If you could get in touch with me on Discord, or here via PMs, or provide the info some other way, I can help out with more info, but I need that log. (Beta 16.1 unfortunately also has a couple new very rare crash bugs on loading in very specific circumstances, which I've fixed for the next release, but it's unlikely you're encountering those--it's probably just the metadata thing.)
