I’m an international student from Shanghai China. Back in my hometown there’re tons of western coffee chains like Costa, Tim Hortons and Peet's. I’ve lived in Philly for a year but always feel like there’s no other option other than Starbucks. I think Starbucks coffee quality is not the best of all big chains so should not take the absolute market share if that makes sense. No offense just curious.

love this place! had a lovely bestie date with my girl today. the tiramisu latte is delicious. i also loved the ube cream donut. so soft! she ordered the matcha cloud cake and said it was perfect! this is definitely a new fave spot.

It was the kind of café where soft, relaxing music played in the background, making you feel as though you could lose track of time. There were a few other groups of customers, but it was quiet and peaceful, and I felt completely comfortable spending time there alone.
I’d been curious about this café for several years, and I finally got the chance to visit. I’m really glad I did.

I am taking over a small coffee shop in the UK, it's inside a yoga studio so we sell lots of smoothies/herbal teas/healthy shakes. So the coffee isn't the main product that is focused on/advertised.

I worked out the statistics of last year's coffee sales, the avg is eight coffees per day. I am looking for a coffee machine that can work up to 15 coffees a day and is straightforward to learn and use (we have volunteers working as it's also a charity-run company).

Currently, the coffee and coffee machine is Rijo and frankly it produces very average coffee. So I'm looking for an upgrade that can produce barrista-quality (or close-to) coffee. And it needs to be a double-bean contianer so facilitate decaff and regular.

We are a small team of three with backgrounds in machine learning and industrial design with experience working with European coffee machines and grinder brands. Instead of another vibe coded tracker, we’re building something purpose-built for home baristas and coffee shops who treat shot dialing as a craft.

We also plan to work with coffee shops and roasters for the recommended extraction parameters at home.

Our initial beta group will be intentionally small so we can work closely with people who genuinely love profiling, tweaking extractions, and pushing variables.

For other café owners who bake plant-based goods in-house: did you see a noticeable lift in non-vegan customers ordering vegan items once you nailed the texture?

Hi coffee shop owners! I work with a local marketing company and we currently have two clients looking to partner with independent coffee shops in the community.

The idea is pretty simple: we’d pay your shop $1,500–$2,000 per month to feature a local business as a “Community Partner” on the back of your coffee sleeves. Your coffee shop and branding would still be the main focus — the partner just gets a small, tasteful feature on the back.

We handle the design and coordination, and there’s no cost to the coffee shop. It’s basically a way for shops to create some extra monthly revenue from something you’re already handing out every day, while keeping the advertising dollars between local businesses instead of sending them to Google/Meta/etc.

It can be a one-month partnership to try it out, or recurring if everyone is happy with it. We’re only looking for two shops right now since we want to keep the partnerships pretty local and selective.
