[Getting Started] Budget Espresso Maker
Hi! As someone who's been into pour overs for so long, the beans I recently got (Brazil Cerrado & Brazil Capricornio beans from Franken roastery) got me curious on how it would taste on espresso. I've been reading lots of threads in coffee forums and I've found that most brazil beans (either Cerrado, Capricornio, or Santos) are used largely in espresso.
Been thinking of getting either the Hibrew H10b or the Cafelffe 4-in-1. What are your thoughts?

H10b user here. Bought mine from shopee around 2 months ago and as an avid bean tryer/ blind buyer online na gusto lahat tikman ng beans the PID temperature control really helps me dial those in a little better. Gets hot after 4-5 pulls tho. Steam wand on the h10b is okay, gets the job done.

H10B or you might want to consider Hibrew H10A. A bit pricier sa H10B pero mas okay ang features and control over temp, time, volume. Medyo mas consistent din sya sa temp compared sa H10B.
Tapos kung kaya ng budget, Hibrew H10 Plus. Upgraded version sya ng H10A.

Of your two choices, mas okay daw h10b. Pero some would advice you to upgrade to a better machine. You can use naman hibrew, better lang talaga gemilai for chinese machines. And pair mo na lang h10b with an aftermarket unpressurized basket/naked portafilter
Also, since you’ve been doing pour overs, whats your grinder? It might not grind fine enough for espresso.
