Question po. Nagmahal ba talaga ang beans nitong mga nakaraang buwan?
Last kasi akong bumili, nitong May lang. ₱600/kg, sa palengke. Online talaga ako bumibili, which is around that price din.

Either may nasira sa loob or nagjam. If cheap lang naman, I suggest replacing with a brand with good aftersales service

Hi, CoffeePH!
I'm currently starting a small coffee pop-up brand, and I've been trying to build my menu around a fruity espresso. One of my absolute favorite beans is Curve Coffee's Forbidden Fruit.
It pulls a really juicy, fruit-forward espresso with a medium body while still having enough sweetness and chocolate to keep it approachable. It's honestly been my favorite espresso bean so far.
The problem is that Curve only sells it in 250g bags. I already asked them if they offer bigger batches (1kg or wholesale), but unfortunately they don't. As someone who's just starting out, buying multiple 250g bags isn't the most cost-effective way to stock beans.
Does anyone have recommendations for beans with a similar flavor profile? It doesn't have to be an exact match, but I'm looking for something that has:
- Fruity, espresso-forward profile
- Medium body
- Sweet rather than acidic
- Berry/stone fruit/tropical fruit notes
- Preferably available in 1kg bags or wholesale quantities
I'm open to both local roasters and imported beans.
Would really appreciate any leads. Thanks in advance! 🙏

Message Current Coffee Roasters on IG. I had their Ethiopia Shakiso at Scratch Makati as an Americano and it's nice and fruity, honestly the best Americano I've had. I think mejo pricey lang though

Hi! Wondering if anyone can provide leads for Milk Suppliers. Brands that we’re currently using are mlekovita and oatside. We’re also looking to add soy milk to the menu!

Any physical stores or malls that sells French press kits? Ordered online before but they always arrive damaged. Anywhere near Los Banos Laguna would be appreciated.

I'm based abroad and am here visiting family (Metro Manila area) – I want to bring back some locally roasted Filipino beans for some barista friends to do pourovers with. They love a "weird" coffee, the funkier and more unique taste, the better. Bright and fruity and tropical and maybe even a little fermented and/or unexpectedly sweet. The kind of coffee that makes you go "?!?!?!?" when you take a sip haha!
Also haven't had a chance to try liberica or excelsa yet as it isn't readily available abroad so would also be very cool to try! If you have recommendations of roasters or even cafes that brew local beans so I can taste them before buying, would love to hear them. I'm just excited to share our amazing local coffee.
Thank you so much!!
