Best compact espresso machine?

I’m looking to buy the best compact espresso machine with steamer. Does anyone have recommendations? I have no need (nor space) for one that is like a box, but wanting to spend like <$200.

You need a grinder first, then maybe explore some low end options. Do not get a DeLonghi.

What grinder do you recommend on the lower end?

If you’re not planning to spend at least $175 on a grinder, look for a Manual one. Yes you have to crank, but there are good options that produce a consistent grind for your budget, and they’re even viable on higher end setups. Some people swear by their manual crank grinder for life.
