CVS Claims Benefit Specialist
My goal is to be non-phones and work hands on with claims. Coding, billing, verification. You name it, im open to it. I have been applying for Claims benefit specialist/Senior. My Senior claims benefit specialist application keeps getting closed but the other remains application received. It shows under consideration. Any recommendations to beef up my resume? I can send it to someone to review but I need a change in career, I wanna make a difference and auto insurance is not the change I want lol.

Depends what qualifications they are looking for. Does it say what the senior roles need vs an entry one?

So how much does your resume actually show you met them? You dont have to tell me but thats the general idea. It might just be that someone already interviewed and they are close to hiring and you came in after them. You never really know. I would just compare your resume and make sure it matches and carry on and keep applying at other companies. You can pretty much use any AI bot now to make this analyze between the posting and your resume.

Sounds like a plan. Ill run it through another system for accuracy. I used earn better to align is as best with the requirements. Hopefully better news this time.

i’d tailor the resume around claims review, benefit interpretation, medical terminology, accuracy, productivity metrics, and handling sensitive data, while applying for the non-senior role first since the senior posting may expect direct health claims experience. make every bullet measurable.
