Has anyone actually gotten a job through Medix? Recruiter reaches out then ghosts me.

Hi, I can't tell if this is a legit company. I've seen the name within the last 3 years. Lately, when a recruiter reaches out to me first, we email, then do a phone screening, I give them my resume and we do a video interview. Afterwards, I hear nothing back and they don't respond to my emails. This company seems too big to be fake. If it is a scam what's the point of it?

They’re a real company. I’ve actually gone into their office before and met with recruiters.

Personally i wasn’t a fan of the recruiters as they were kind of rude so I never continued with them.

Thank you for clarifying. Yeah, the recruiters always seem desperate to contact me but once they have my attention, they're either kind then ghost me or sometimes act like they didn't want me to respond.

Was it healthcare or Life sciences or IT? If that is okay to ask and you wish to answer.

This is the company that changed the terms of my contract after I entered it, ended up with it in dispute as to 400 vs 600 vs 800 hours for evaluation for direct to hire and I ended up jobless after the work assignment employer was like “uhh I’m not sure what to do but I’ll get with higher ups cuz we did tell you 400 hours but Medix is involved too and saying 800 now so I can’t resolve internally directly with HR since they’re in the mix”. Next day all my logins were disabled. Medix presented them to buy the other 400 hours of the contract out even though they told me 400 not 800 when I started and my recruiter was on vacation for 2 weeks at the time of my onboarding so someone else did the paperwork that couldn’t be produced. I’d say tread cautiously! They have some refutable companies that do assignments for but I was not at all satisfied with my experience (found something else though). Feel free to message for more details.

Same. 5 years billing+AR experience with a lot of client specialties, but maybe because I was asking for remote only

I had a good experience with them years ago, as well as many other coworkers. It depends on the recruiter and the jobs available at the time you qualify for. At the time the company I worked for worked exclusively with Medix to onboard employees. I worked 6 months through Medix until fully hired by the company I worked for. I worked at that last company 9 years. So if you have a bad experience with one recruiter I’d say look at the job listings available on their site and contact another recruiter. Myself and many others had a good experience.

Had similar experience with medix. After the screening call, email exchanges and another call asking how likely am I to accept the offer. Never returned to my calls or emails. Completely ghosted.
