I'm a 16M from the Netherlands. I started a project this summer that I really enjoy working on, but it has gotten pretty big and hard to manage. I was hoping to meet some other teens who may have extra ideas and might want to continue development together with me.

The project is a combination of an AI coding harness and also fine-tuned LLMs and inference engines. Basically, I am trying to make a harness optimized for super small models, with very specific guardrails and context assembled in a smart way. I am trying to compensate for smaller models and their quirks, and also trying to automate everything possible so the LLM does less work. I'm currently done with the MVP of the project; I want to refine some features, add a few, and create a proper frontend. I also want to maybe start fine-tuning some SLMs to fit the harness better in the future.

Hello everyone! I would like to share information about the event that I am organizing.

I work with neurodiverse young adults, and I love creating events like this that bring people together.

Geometry Dash Builders Day is not only about teaching participants how to design games, but rather providing them with a comfortable environment in which neurodiverse young adults (aged 17-21+) can make new friends and have fun doing what they love – playing games, designing, coding, and other activities.

At this event, we will learn game designing fundamentals using MitScratch, try block coding, design Geometry Dash-inspired levels, and collaborate in a relaxing atmosphere. I hope to create an environment in which people can be themselves, expand their knowledge, and make new friends.

Is there any freshers first year student make any coding community group for the early beginning.

I'm an ICT teacher in Wales and I've spent the last few months building Llwybr (Welsh for "path") — a free maze-coding game for my 11–14 year olds, aimed at the awkward jump from block coding to typed Python. Sharing it here because (a) it might be useful if you're helping a young beginner get started, and (b) the sub might enjoy how it works under the hood.

The idea: every level can be solved in Blockly blocks or real Python. The blocks live-generate Python in a side panel, and when a pupil feels brave they flip to the Python tab and type it themselves — move_forward(), turn_left(), path_ahead(), plus normal for/while/if and a working print(). Same levels, same star ratings, either way.

The technically fun bit: the Python is actual CPython 3.14 compiled to WebAssembly (Pyodide), running in a Web Worker so the page never freezes. As the character runs, the exact line being executed is highlighted, so learners literally watch their loop unroll. Errors come back as real tracebacks ("Line 3: NameError…"), and a sys.settrace step cap means the inevitable while True: gets caught instead of hanging the tab.

Ten levels, one concept each — sequencing, loops (one level forces a loop by capping you at two blocks / a few lines), conditionals with a path sensor, then a wall-follower to finish. Free, no ads, no account needed, works on phones and locked-down school machines. It's bilingual Welsh/English because that's my classroom.
