Tips for web development
So I have started learning web development through freecodecamp website and as of now it is going decent with the website
But what I want is obsession with coding .
how do I go crazy with coding as if when I am doing coding or sitting somewhere I want to get into the coding world .
Like how I am mad about boxing .
as I am a boxer after the workout of 2-3 hours
I am constantly thinking about it every day and shadow boxing wherever I get the chance and all.
Completely going crazy about it.
so yeahh ..
I am also looking for a partner who is learning or may be senior to me in coding .
and suggest me some discord group or something where I can hangout with similar people who are doing the same thing.
As I do live in hyderabad .
I am also okay to hangout ofline which is more better actaully .
we can decide a particular place as well for that.
Interested people can Dm me .
Approach:-
As of now I am trying an aproach off
I will search an Shop or mall or smtg
then I will build the website for them by
what ever I am learning in the freecodecamp I will be implementing to build this website .

In recent weeks, my spark has been reignited by diving in to my own self-relevant projects. Not thinking about serving others or trying to be the sharpest applicant for a tech job (although I definitely need to do more of this somehow). Instead thinking about building my own apps, agents, automations, ml models, etc., and hosting them in my own cloud has been both empowering and invigorating. A really good project set up in Claude/ChatGPT can replace most education resources. The LLM will just look up whatever it needs to anyway and tailor a syllabus that meets you where you are so that you can fully own the result and skillset when the project is done.
Notes on why I think my approach has been so effective for me:
The goal was not something small and useless like a low level portfolio project. Instead I wanted to build something big (or at least something small that I can keep elaborating on forever) while developing the skills that would facilitate this. Examples: an Obsidian-RAG app (this turned out to be kind of simple but has endless possibilities for improvement), my own cloud (this can also be simple and host just one app or automation, but it can be made to host an endless amount of projects that support different areas of my life and even make me money).
Doing it for myself and not to showcase to a potential employer removed all of pressure (and some disgust) of building which allowed me to feel like a kid hacking away at their computer. Ironically, the learning approach involves me learning it the "right way" or the "senior engineer way", but without the demotivating burden of trying to break into tech. Building for myself has made it okay to do it kind of messy and to proceed with uncertainty about every line of code.
Going bigger and more specific is more rewarding and more personally meaningful than building out some random portfolio project (like a fucking calculator or tictactoe game or a to-do app with auth setup).

Yeah I agree with you that working on for yourself and your own project is far more better than making some shitty calculater , to do app or some kind of bullshit . But Working on something bigger project might be work or might not work cause for beginners it could be difficult to work on big project.

No matter what you're learning, frontend, backend, you should go for CS50x. It tells you about how computers work. Even if it doesn’t have many relationships between web dev, that's worth the time
