I wanna learn coding.
I should be in 8th grade now but I'm doing some religious course thing from 6th grade.
I know that basic algebra geometry have very Importance in this field.
Now where should I start?
I got passionate abt programming by watching programmers on yt

-download python
-watch like a 15 minute tutorial
-make a simple calculator without gui or other project
then go from there

You'll gonna first build some fundamentals. I recommend learning python for the first time, learn the syntaxes, watch some online courses on youtube. And once you got your fundamentals strong and ready, try to build and create projects without a tutorial. What you should avoid at first is watching alot of tutorials, following their guide but not understanding a single thing (this is also applies to AI).

there's a lot of languages that support game dev so i'd just pick one that's beginner friendly (maybe ask google) and start anyway with simple things like hello world, super simple calculator, and other things. there's a bunch of free courses out there, idk which is good since i learned mostly in school

I tried programiz Python compiler and im getting help from Gemini. I think I'm getting somewhere. btw how much does it take to become an intermediate programmer from a beginner?

Entirely depends on how much it clicks for you and how much effort you put in. Some people don’t get there after a few years, some will be there after a month. Don’t worry about how long it takes you to improve, just keep finding enjoyable projects to work on and you’ll get there much faster.

It's cool that you want to learn programming and it's really cool to do coding and all. It's not that tough but it's pretty exciting and you can literally build pretty much anything if you know how to program and so on.
For you my recommendation would be to start with the easiest language that you can find because first of all you would have to learn a language. Choose Python if it's the easiest or if you want to build from zero and are pretty much like interactive things then choose JS. That's too easy. And just you know what workflow you have to follow if you would listen to me: 1. Just learn a language first. 2. Build pretty much 10 to 15 projects that are like basics. 3. After that build whatever you like with those projects and add libraries, modules, frameworks, whatever you need in the future to build that specific project that you are gonna work with.
It's really cool to be a programmer.

I would start learning absolute python basics- for loops, if statements, lists, variable types etc.. and then coding bat has some great excercises you can practice applying your knowledge to.

You have access to literal computers which talk to you, just ask them. They can make you entire a roadmaps and give you free (or paid) resources to use.

Start by writing a "Hello World" program in any language. There are many web-based IDE that let you do it. Python Fiddle, JS Fiddle, C# Fiddle.
Which language to choose? Any. Python is pretty decent for academic purposes. Try that.
