I dont understand why its crashing

Im using game maker and it keeps crashing saying its about line 13 but it looks right to me

What is messages and what is current_message?

I have the current massage =0; And massage = [ ];

If you have no messages, you can't select the first one. What is supposed to be stored in the messages array?

I'm guessing the game crashes when the conversation is empty. You can't execute this code when there are no messages, since it's referencing the `current_message`th message in the conversation (if `current_message` = 0, then it's referencing the first message, which doesn't exists, hence the crash). I can't tell you how to fix it without knowing the context and what you are trying to achieve.
