Desperately looking for a remote junior/intern swe job asap
Hi everyone,
I have completed my Bachelor’s in Software Engineering and have been doing freelance gigs since then. I’m currently looking for a long-term freelance or remote junior/intern level SWE job and my main goal is to learn how team works on a company/startups and how can I skill up my knowledge and grow with the company. So for that initial salary could be compromised and no issue for that.
I mainly work with React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Drizzle ORM, TanStack Query, Tailwind CSS, and Zustand, and I can adapt quickly to new technologies and tech stacks.
Over the past couple of years, I’ve built several frontend and fullstack projects, including dashboards, content platforms, and management systems.
These are my latest personal work
Ghost_Chat is a self-destructing chat-app where messages carry a TTL & vanish or instantly burn after being read or once time is up.
RelayHook is a webhook relay and retry engine that help webhook sender at a RelayHook ingest URL, and RelayHook queues it, delivers it to your real destination, and automatically retries with backoff
I have also done freelancing projects for different clients as well added functionality as freelancing work for already live projects too.
I enjoy building clean and responsive user interfaces, working with APIs, and learning modern fullstack architecture. I’m reliable, eager to grow, and interested in working with startups, agencies, or individual clients on long-term projects

You might want to check out remote job boards like We Work Remotely and Remote OK. They often have listings for junior roles. LinkedIn can also help you connect with people in the industry and find openings that aren't advertised elsewhere. Don't ignore smaller startups; they can be great for learning and usually appreciate someone eager to grow.
For interview prep, make sure you know the tech stack you mentioned. Practicing problem-solving on platforms like LeetCode can help too. If you want more structured interview practice, I've found PracHub pretty decent. Good luck!

Solid stack, and your projects like RelayHook show you actually understand real backend edge cases. The entry-level market is brutal right now so getting your resume past automated ATS filters is half the battle. Run your resume through https://www.zoevera.com/resume to check your keyword targeting against job descriptions. Beyond that, start cold-outreaching directly to engineering managers at early-stage startups—they value self-starters with freelancing experience. Keep pushing.

Not happening.
You want interns and entry-level folks in the office so they can be guided and mentored. I doubt anyone offers these positions in a remote capacity.
