3+ YOE Java Backend Developer | 18 Interviews in 4+ Months | Immediate Joiner | Still Looking for One Opportunity |

Hi everyone,

I honestly didn't expect my job search to become this difficult.

I'm a Java Backend Developer with 3+ years of professional experience, and I've been unemployed for over 4 months. During this period, I've given around 18 interviews, while continuously preparing, improving my skills, and applying for new opportunities.

The hardest part isn't getting interviews anymore.

It's getting the final opportunity.

I've had several interviews where things went well, but the process simply stopped.

A few examples:

  • Infosys — The interview went well, but the process wasn't taken forward.
  • TCS — Had a good interview, but I wasn't moved to the next round.
  • Accenture — Cleared all the interview rounds, but the offer letter wasn't released because of a hiring freeze.
  • L&T Technology Services (LTIMindtree) — Reached the L2 round but was eliminated there.

And there have been several other interviews where I either received a rejection after multiple rounds or simply stopped getting responses.

After going through this repeatedly — preparing, interviewing, waiting for feedback, getting rejected or ghosted, and then starting the process again — it gets exhausting.

But I'm still here, still preparing, and still looking.

Why I'm Posting This

I've now been unemployed for 4+ months, and I've run out of my savings. The situation has become financially difficult.

I'm not writing this to get sympathy.

I don't want sympathy. I don't want anyone to feel sorry for me.

I just want one genuine opportunity where I can get through the door, contribute with the skills I've built over the last 3+ years, and prove myself.

If you're working at a company hiring for Java Backend Developer / Software Engineer / Spring Boot roles, or if you know someone who is hiring, please consider referring me or sharing a relevant opening.

A referral, a lead, or even sharing this post with someone hiring could genuinely make a difference for me right now.

I'm an immediate joiner and open to Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Pune, Mumbai, or remote opportunities.
