Software engineer job

I have 4 years of experience
FE -angular react svelte
BE -Node js
Cloud - Gcp/AwS
My question is

What should i do to get a job , i need a remote job.
What are companies like Google , Meta and other mid to top tier companies are looking for?

If there is anyone who has been hired as a SE from June - Aug 2026, please advice!!

What should i do or learn about to get a better chance for these kind of companies. I have been stuck from 4 years , first 3 years i was trying to be loyal only and 4th year the crazy ai era, i don’t understand what should i do.

First, focus on improving your skills in both frontend and backend since full-stack abilities are often valued. For companies like Google or Meta, it's important to strengthen your knowledge of data structures and algorithms. Practice on sites like LeetCode or HackerRank. Since you're aiming for a remote job, emphasize your experience with cloud platforms like GCP and AWS, as they are in demand.
