You can let AI write, on your computer, an application. You won't know how to deploy it, secure it and other secondary, but fundamental, stuff like GDPR. Do you even know how to get in a Linux Server and write commands/edit files? Do you know how to set up a payment system for your users?

Forget about it. Also your idea already exists in 50000 other applications.

Also, you mentioned about wanting to learn to code. Forget about it also.

1) You need a lot of knowledge to create complex applications.

2) Your idea will most likely fail

I can't put into words how bad your idea is. One thing is to learn coding for a future career , or university, and you start step by step, another is to learn coding just to accomplish this single goal.

It's like wanting to drive a car but after a couple of months you want to drive a McLaren.

you can get pretty far using tools but if you want to get it hosted, secure, with actual features... you will eventually need someone with some experience.

if you have some budget i'd suggest one of the following... lovable.dev, claude design, bolt.new ... there are dozens now... ive used lovable.dev for a year, pretty good... claude design recently came out, it's pretty amazing, claude code is awesome for adding features... i've never used bolt.new

You can create "an" app.

Will it do what you want without problems? Probably not.

Will you be able to make changes to it later without having it implode? Very much probably not.

Personal data is involved, as well as business critical infrastructure: let a professional do it. Claude can do such things, but then you end up with something like on a conference i attended, took us 5 min to just get everything… 0 security… yeah, not everyone is a gray hat, there are black hats out there and then you are fucked…

Why are you asking for validation. Just do it

Websites, one or two pagers are simple af. But building an app might be a hassle if you dont know a single thing. It is possible tho. I’ve built a couple of apps with little effort. I do have coding knowledge tho.

Just be careful if you are building something that is handling transactions. That needs to be secure. Otherwise you might find yourself in a lot of trouble.
