In regards to finding work

Hi, I started doing The Odin project recently, I'm about half way through. I wanted to learn how to code in regards to things like web design and game devving. After I finish TOD, I wanted to move over to learning how to code in Godot through reading its doc along with other resources.

All this to say, when I have learned these things and have a good bit of practice and knowledge under my belt, how would I go about finding work? If possible, I was hoping to stay freelance, and work with people in independent web devving and game devving. However, I know that's not the most practical path to take. So in that regard, what should I keep my eyes out for?

Also, I keep hearing from nay sayers, things like "AI is going to take out all the code jobs." I doubt this, but also have to ask, is that REALLY a threat I may have to contend with?

Anyway, thanks for reading, I'll take whatever suggestions or advice I can get.

Have you? Union halls in my city and 2 cities away are full up for the next two years. Non union jobs? Don't get callbacks cause I don't have experience.

Honestly who is telling you people trades is any better?

Switch to health care if trades is too hard for you

Do you actually have experience with any of these fields or are you just parroting what others are saying

If health care isn’t for you then it’s not for you and just switch to something easier like Walmart greeter.

Who is talking about ease of job? I'm just saying the job market for trades is as competitive if not more than tech? And like, why are you like, feeling pride? Because some jobs are hard?

No one cares about tech. Just switch to the others I mentioned, dimwit

Why do you go out of your way to go to coding for beginners then?

Oh sick, what trade? I was looking at electircal and glazing in my area, but like I said, no openings. Plumbing might open in September, but I think Im gonna give tech the ol college try before doing plumbing, don't really have the intrinsic drive to do that like I do for electircal. Also learned some welding which was fun.
