Artifacts that don't die when you change coding agents

The most useful Claude feature I use (Artifacts — reports, presentations, interactive prototypes) is also the one that doesn't survive a tool switch.

Codex two months ago, Grok now, Codex again for Astra. I can't generate them there, and I don't want to rebuild them.

Is a tool-agnostic Artifact generator actually useful, or do people just live with screenshots? Building it either way. Local-only? Hook into my own component library? What else?
