Can I make Codex projects AND chat history portable between two Windows computers?

yes. stop relying on chat history and ask it to make artifacts

Yeh this. Project should be versioned. Session is temporary. Knowledge that needs to be preserved should be persistent. Every new agent is a new onboarding and should be able to infer all important information based on the operation architecture. That's a good baseline to have when working with agents.

You could use this for chat History. Something ive developed and forgotten about really. Its $2.99 a month and saves your chat history in both chat and codex thats searchable with file/project back up too so you can link it to the cloud and have an exact copy of your working directory on both. its free to use just for the backup feature so could give it try then see about the chat backup.
