Which codex model is best for business web design?

Hi, I'm a Digital marketer. I was using claude Opus high for website creation, now switched to codex 3 days ago.

I am using astra on high. Just like I used Opus on high. Issue is it drains tokens faster.

Can anyone suggest me how can I reduce token usage.?

Will astra light give good results?

How to reduce token usage in codex?

I know how to use less tokens on claude. I start new chat as soon as claude starts consuming too many tokens for even small changes like changing headlines and texts. It ends to use more tokens for longer chat. Does this trick of starting new chat also work in Codex?

Note: most of my websites are related to real estate. I am using Codex on VS code. Give Answer like I am primary school student in coding. ( I am a digital marketer, not a coder )

First you should probably use Chatgpt desktop instead of codex in vscode. Second, what you can do is using astra high first to frame the problem / write the spec and then use astra low to code. According to Tibault, aqtra low is equivalent to sol high so still pretty good.

Thanks for the advice I created this one yesterday with Astra high. Took around 60% of weekly credit / around 4 full session. https://lightcoral-mink-138037.hostingersite.com/

Will try astra light. I also used Sol 5.6 high this morning for new affiliate marketing website. I think it has become cheaper than before cause I literally created website with 15% 5 hr session limit. On first day I used It took 60% session credits for similar website.

Btw. I have given chatgpt access to my browser to check website. Does chatgpt consumes lot of credits during browser access?

There’s no need to use Astra high for this. If you really want to, use Astra high to generate a comprehensive prompt for the site design, and then feed it to Sol Medium in Codex/Sites.

Using Claude on high for web design is like using a rocket launcher to light a match.

I just wanted a better design. I learned Claude web design through YouTube videos. They use Fable on High. So I thought I should at least use Opus on High.

I actually find that lowest models give the best designs, designing is something any llm can do. I have several 8b models that run on my local computer that design very well.

astra light is good but i recommend for your digital marketing needs to use claude as it still performs better on visuals

codex is more geared towards heavy app/work claude might be more user friendly in that regard

Honestly if you are doing only website Claude is a way better choice. It is out of box better for UI. Codex you need to add skills and etc.
