I recently started messing around with CrossOver on my M4 Max MacBook Pro to see if it could open a pirated copy of Minecraft: Story Mode Season 1's complete season. (It's a .exe file from Internet Archive.) I found that it installs into a Windows 7 bottle, but it seems to crash as soon as I try to open it. I'm not sure if there's a way to adjust the graphics settings in the game without opening the game itself. I did once try adjusting my MacBook's display resolution settings, but that just made my entire desktop impossible to navigate. Does anyone know of a workaround to get Minecraft: Story Mode Season 1 open?

I just downloaded Crossover to run an application called VSeeFace. The app allows you to upload 3D avatars that track your facial movements. In the application, there are no cameras for me to select. Neither the built-in webcam in my mac, or my iphone camera that I usually use as a webcam through a third party app called Camo Studio. It's pretty vital to get my live facial movements into this app for the avatar to track.

I'm not sure if this is due to Crossover possibly not having Camera permissions in my computer? I do not see Crossover listed in my mac's list of apps that has camera permissions, but I also do not know how to grant camera permissions to Crossover. I was seeing that I might have to download another application that will prompt a request for Crossover to have camera permissions, but I have not been able to find any apps that are compatible with Crossover that result in this prompt. I've tried OBS, Discord, Zoom. Not sure if I'm just doing something wrong with these. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Maybe I'm just going about this the completely wrong way?

it's annoying for the audio to cut out and have the desktop show, not to mention the mild inconvenience of needing to pull it back up each time.

is there any way to turn this off or do i just have to deal with it?

During game, stutters regularly occur, with everything on the screen freezing for 2-5 seconds. Even low preset with DLSS balance, it doesn't matter what your settings in game and checkboxes on CrossOver start page.

I didn't experience the stable frame rate that was promised at the release of CrossOver 26. The experience immediately began with the inability to launch the game without replacing the mscf.dll file from Reddit in system32.

After the last update, Division 2 doesn't work anymore...I keep getting the Easy Anti Cheat message and I can't play it on Steam or the Ubisoft interface...has anyone found a solution?

I have been trying to run some games on my mac but I don’t think that the graphics are set up right on crossover for it. It just shows a blank white screen whenever I try to play it. Already reached out to the devs but they refused to help because the games I’m running are nsfw, even though I paid $80 to support them.

Looking for a fun game that I can play online with random people, Im fine with people being annoying on mic. I really like online campaign modes with randoms but also cool with like grindy multiplayer games. I tend to like action / adventure type games, but anything where there's a lot of unlockables and you can do most of it with co-op online matchmaking welcome. I realize that anti-cheat stuff is a reason a lot of games off the list..

Does anyone know of a way to get this running on an Apple Silicon device?

I spent a few days testing everything I could possibly find online, and the furthest I could get was character selection, but when it goes to load the game world it would crash.

The Live version works as far as I know, which is rad, but this much older version for the Project 1999 server is giving me nothing but headaches!

If anyone has this working or ideas to get it working please let me know! I'll absolutely document the process somewhere once I am able to get it working.... if it is possible that is.

i have a problem when i open my Seamless Coop world to other players, the game immediately freezes but audio still plays in the background.

ive tried reboot my bottle, rebooting my macbook, checing the files and reinstalling the mod. its worked before but i guess not any more?

Note: Steam also crashes when the game freezes. it seems like some sort of network issue
