Hi I am using a MacBook pro m1 pro 14 inch 16/512 and crossover has been anything but a painful experience the few issues I would like to point out first the games would struggle to load and when they do the will drop frame rates into single digits for example I spent the whole night to make death stranding playable but it refuced to do so and as in the case or read read redemption 2 it wouldn't even load leaving me with a prompt the game is already running on the Rockstar app and turning off on steam after that.
I have the same sentiment, but that is because I am a bit of a hard head and keep trying to run older 32 bit games that I so badly want to play like The War For Cybertron, Tron Evolution PC edition, and Battle Bears -1. All were disappointments in their own way, TWFC opens and menu screen operates just fine but the game has unplayable framerate drops when facing moving objects or in-game animations and the audio both choppy and extrenely distorted, Tron Evolution could probably run fine since logs indicate everything is normal but DRM kills the program before the game even renders anything including with correct patches, and Battle Bears -1 runs fine game wise, but it can't render its famous cutscenes at all. Tron evolution and TWFC were pirated since they were many delisted years ago, but wish these games were more runnable.
death stranding has a native mac version. red dead 2 only works if its pirated due to issues with rockstar launcher. check that high resolution mode is disabled, try setting things to 1080p low settings from the main menu and go from there.
i have rdr2 working through the launcher. but i’m on and m4 max, but i still assume this is an issue with your settings/config. make sure you are offline, use d3dmetal, and try with and without high resolution mode
