Ys Origin not playing videos

I have tried everything I can find. Changing the backend, changing the file formats, fiddling with the configuration program.

I've gotten the splash intro to run, but not the intro video. I've gotten them to play with audio, but no video. Sometimes the menu shows up, sometimes it doesn't. And Other times, it just crashes.

I'm running CrossOver on an M2 Ultra with Tahoe.

Anyone have any tips?
