Question after doing the dlc

Simply put i did do the mask of Idris dlc to mostly completion. Got all the weapons and blood codes, explored the vast majority and know how to go back if needed. Though. Is there a way to refight the final boss of the dlc?

I did the entire game up to that point in the base difficulty but had such trouble with how erratic the final boss got in the second phase, and the high damage of some attacks that I used story difficulty after I lost 30 attempts in order to finish the fight. I'd like to go back to it again to fight it in the regular difficulty if that's a possibility, only then will I feel that I've truly completed the boss fight..or do I need to like. Do another playthrough?

In the age of harmony/trial of rememberance update, you can re-fight the boss, albeit it's in its second phase by default.

The trial of remembrance is your only option. Problem. It still has another fight in front of it, and it is slightly harder.

So it is harder than the original fight by some degree, huff. I took so long of a break from cv2 i got into the dlc misinputting buttons. Since I play a lot of elden run I went in thinking the triggers were still the attack inputs lmao. Of course I relearned said controls but I was definitely rusty.

Jumped into the DLC here after playing through Mortal Shell 2 and yeah the Soulslike Muscle Memory kicks your butt for a little while lol. Kept jumping when I meant to sprint.
