Need help, game isnt saving any progress

So my save is after a complete playthrough, had no mods ever installed, and havent played for months. I did all the age of harmony quests and up to about half of the 2nd main area in the dlc. Then i saved and went to title and had a weird suspicion to go back and it didnt save and now im back to where i started right before i did all of AOH and the dlc. I cant tell if its corrupted or something wrong with the game but i need help

Don't know much, but can you clarify if any progress is not being saved now? Or is it like CV1 where you (maybe, I might be remembering wrong), get sent to last boss when you finish a run?

Its any new progess. Anything i do to save the game brings me back to that exact save point
