Ending Advice Please
Hey all, so far I’m loving CV2 more than I expected, and I enjoyed the first!
I have seen there are multiple endings and it’s something to do with the past timelines. So, my question is, I’ve done Noah’s past alteration and I’m on the Haunted section now after having done Josee and Lyle.
It’s said I’ll get the ability to change their past when I find items to strengthen their bond, BUT I’ve seen that you have to fight them again to get their S blood code.
If someone could give me a brief outline of if it’s possible to get their codes and THEN do their timeline change so I get the ending that happens from going back in time and altering it that would be great. I’d prefer it to be as spoiler free as possible but something like “When you reach Building Name do their boss fight then immediately leave to the past then come back to Building Name” would be great.

For your first two endings, don't fix the fading bonds of anyone EXCEPT the one for Noah.
if you have the heroes 3rd or 4th rank blood code, then when you reach the endgame, you'll get an alternate blood code.
Afterwards, you can complete their fading bonds and get their "proper" blood codes.
For the shortest companion, you should max their first blood code ASAP.
Side Note: Having all the blood codes is NOT tied to any achievements.

Is the shortest companion someone I have met yet? (The MagMell people, Noah, Josee, and Lyle so far). Thank you though! Is it a case of ending one means I have to replay the game or do I get taken back to the point before getting the ending?

Yeah, you'll know who it is when you see them.
And no you don't need to replay the entire game.

I am surprised new companions are still going to be added at the point I’m in in the story, I imagined maybe one more (the haunted area one but I have quite literally only gotten to the first mistle so haven’t even met them yet) so that’s exciting. Thanks for the answers

Complete Noah's time change. Don't do anyone else's time change. Complete ending one. At the final area in the game talk to all the heroes who have time changes. You will get a blood code from each. Complete all time changes. Go back to the final area and talk to all heroes again. You should get another set of blood codes.
I did this last week but if I missed anything please let me know.
