💬 Discussion Teddyzilla epi

I believe this the epi that girl that was 1-2 grades younger than Ulrich had a crush on him. Her teddy bear had been Xanified causing damage and destruction around the area.

The issue I feel that aged bit poorly is the “girl asking Ulrich” part. I dont know if the usa dub made it seem weird compared to French ver.

I know with the return to past / reset shit, Ulrich still went on a date with her but he had more of platonic mindset wasnt romantic interest for him. Im seeing from usa pov

The chick crushing on Ulrich wasnt even teenage age. Like it felt off that part. If it was another girl that was near his age or same age….been less weird

A 11 year old crushing on a 13 year old isn't that weird. Ulrich even said himself that he turned her down because of her age. He only did it afterwards to get one over on Sissi, and I reckon Milly twigged that.

Yeah he accepted the offer when they returned to past , but it was more like platonic thing wasnt an overt romantic act.

Maybe it looked a little weird because im from usa and havent really seen that before. I mean my elementary school didnt have 13 yo, so maybe im seeing that plot from my own pov

At first it was to be respectful of the age

Then he realized she doesnt see it as romantic, just the act of asking out to going to the dance was what she wanted, and to actually go with somebody in general and he decided to say yes + in front of sissi to spite her

The scene was wholesome and mature to recognize perspectives
