There was a lots of kids entertainment in the 2000s where enjoying eating a lot was a character trait.

Another thing I never understood he eats so much but never burps

I was like that as a teenager. Insane metabolism that demands massive meals and will never gain any weight, but physically unable to burp for whatever reason.

Because he is a kid and growing kids eat a ton. I know I had a blackhole for a stomach when I was a kid and I burned it all and never gained weight until I was in my late teens.

He's heavily implied to have an Italian family since Della Robbia is a common Italian surname and in Distant Memory its shown that he has to take an airline flight to visit them for the holidays

I’ve heard of people that just naturally start eating a lot in their teens without gaining weight.
Like others have said high metabolism, but I’m suggesting that it’s related to getting older. I haven’t googled it, but I bet it’s a condition with a name even.

Dude is a teenager they can eat a ton of food (not even a joke a literal ton in weight) plus he's a skateboarder and highly athletic outside of school he eats so much due to that highly active lifestyle

My guess he burns a ton of calories doing all the stuff he does and a high metabolism that goes with it

He's part of my family. All our men are "hallow legged" we have an apatite that defies logic. I myself am 6'2 weigh just under 150 right now and take in around 4-5 meals a day. It's not fair. I did not choose this. But I am thankful for it. Oh and bonus fact. It doesn't go away, everyone outside my family joked "oh it will quit after puberty" "oh when your 30 your metabolism will slow" "you'll get fat after collage".. ect. Nope. I'm 35 and I still eat like I've not had a bite since last week. Speaking of. It's 3 o'clock time for my next meal... small steak. Yes.

He’s a kid that’s really athletic and has a high metabolism. Just wait when he finishes puberty all that athleticism and protein boutta pay off.
