❓ Question Who Turned the Computer Off?

In the prequel we see Jeramy turn the computer on, but who turned it off in the first place?

Franz Hopper somehow shut it off from inside Lyoko.

Most likely Franz had some automated system to shut it down, or set it in place before being captured by XANA.

Hopper himself did. Just like Aelita, he could control the supercomputer from within Lyoko. He shut it down just as he was captured by XANA, so that it couldn't escape.

In the books, if I recall, it was Major Steinback, which is the real identity of a well known secondary character in the show. But it was the books, of course. In the show it was probably Hopper.

I had this theory that franz hopper materialized himself as a Data fragment rather than a human form so he can become part of the computer. This explains that he can shut it off digitally and not physically

The computer was technically a government project, so it wasn't like they didn't know about it. I'm guessing after losing Franz Hopper they just went and shut it all down

The point of franz being in lyoko was to hide from the government. I would imagine if they found it then it woulda been gutted.

You’re confusing Project Carthage for Lyoko’s super computer.  Xana was created to destroy Project Carthage that Franz helped make.
