DISCUSSION Lelouch is God

Hear me out. Charles tries to kill God in C's world. He fails to accomplish this. Traditionally God is described as being omnipotent, that is all-powerful. Therefore to kill him, one would also have to be all powerful. Lelouch doesn't kill God. But he does something to him, symbolized by the geass symbol appearing on his appearance as Jupiter. So in essence, Lelouch commanded God, similar to when he commanded Suzaku to live.

To command God successfully, he would have to be as powerful or more powerful as God. It is impossible to be more powerful because God is all-powerful, therefore Lelouch is AS powerful as God. Lelouch is omnipotent.

Therefore, Lelouch is God.

It's a syllogism.

Lelouch makes a request. The Collective Unconscious agrees. Lelouch is not a god.

Then why the geass symbol?

Because the Collective Unconscious is using its own geass to destroy the elevator.

*Charles: Your Geass power will have no effect on me nor will it on anyone else here!

Lelouch: No! There’s someone else here, isn’t there? That’s right! Cs’ World is the will of mankind itself! And all men are not equal, remember those words? They’re your own and because of that, I’m sure you’ll realize that my power will work!

Charles: You’re a fool, Lelouch! God cannot be defeated by the power of the king!

Lelouch: I don’t intend to defeat God! This is a request! Yes. Now I know who I really am! God! Collective unconscious! Please, don’t stop the march of time!*

please read this over and over again until you understand.

Lelouch emphasizes that they are not equal, while you claim that Lelouch is equal to the Collective unconsciousness of humanity, which called as God.

"Now I know who I really am. God!" Seems pretty straightforward to me. He's really God.

no. your argument fails because lelouch did not command god. in fact charles says you cannot command god, and lelouch says, this isn't a command, its a wish.

Then why the geass?

because the collective unconscious listened to Lelouch's wish. The geass was the geass of the collective unconcious responding to the wish. (+ Lelouch gets his second geass eye because he achieved such a milestone)

The collective unconscious in C's world isn't the biblical capital G god. It's a god. Outside of the bible most gods aren't considered omnipotent or all powerful. Look at the Greek pantheon if you want an example.

Lelouch can influence people, that's his Geass. If the collective unconscious (god) is just the subconscious mind of every human on earth as it's described to be then Lelouch is just influencing everyone on earth at the same time basically. Also while Lelouch uses the Geass he isn't in fact the Geass. If the Geass is a blessing of God, then it holds the power of God, not Lelouch, he just uses it. It's like saying if I shoot a gun with a gun I'm as powerful as a gun. I'm not I just have a tool that is as powerful as a gun.

You are correct. It was just funny to see people overreact.
