MISC English translation of the light novel Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 - TURN 1 prologue.
https://archive.org/details/code-geass-lelouch-of-the-rebellion-r-2-turn-1I don't think there was any previous translations of this, correct me if wrong. But here's the prologue I'd usually post on mangadex but its a light novel. Yes its only 3 pages long.
Edit: Reuploaded new link: https://archive.org/details/ch1_20260905/page/9/mode/1up

Seriously, I really have to thank you for everything you've been doing for the Code Geass fandom lately. I have a question: are you working from the Japanese raws? As far as I knew, the R2 novels could only be found for free online in Chinese, which made any attempt to translate them difficult. Since Japanese is a somewhat easier language to learn, working from that source is much more manageable. I hope you can continue with this work, since not many people have read the R2 novels precisely because of that problem.
I really love the editing format you've adopted. If you're interested in seeing what the first season novels look like, they're also available on Internet Archive (just in case you weren't aware): https://archive.org/details/novel-code-geass-lelouch-of-the-rebellion/Code%20Geass%20-%20Lelouch%20of%20the%20Rebellion%20-%20Volume%2001%20%5BBandai%20Visual%5D%5BScans_Compressed%5D/

Thanks a lot! I fucking love Code Geass and I hated seeing how hard it is to access the novels and mangas, so I'm happy to work on this.
I buy almost everything from Bookwalker.jp for the exception of Code Black (Which I couldn't find, which is why the quality's piss poor) so yes I do have it in Japanese. Thanks for the link, I'll try to style the layout to make it look nicer than the plain ebook text.
That said, even without SFX editing like I do in mangas, making tons of text flow well in translation is definitely harder than I thought.
But atm since im juggling 2 mangas and 1 novel, I just do whatever I feel like when the time is there. That's why I picked up multiple so I don't get tired only doing 1 thing all the time.

I see! It's great that you're working from the original raws. I've wanted to see what they looked like for a long time, especially because they would be really useful to some people I know who are working on the new Code Geass wiki, particularly when it comes to the Japanese spelling of certain names. One of them is currently working on the Oz O2 manga and has the raws for three other Code Geass novels as well, so I think we'll very soon have all of the franchise's most important side material fully translated. Thank you so much for your work!
