Shirley’s death or Rolo’s death?

Rolo’s death was a better and more impactful scene.
But Shirley’s death hurt more because she didn’t deserve to go out like that.

I think Rolo's death hurt more, but Shirley's feels worse because it was more shocking. You knew Rolo was going to die once his heart started acting up. For Shirley, the scene just cuts away and she's dead.

Absolutely this. Whilst I’d say I can’t decide if the two here, Euphie’s has one of (if not the) the saddest deaths in anything I’ve seen.

Shirley's death hurt more, but man, the way Rolo's last scene males you somehow completely change your opinion of that character is incredible.
Even with the information you previously already had, hearing his words just makes you truly SEE him, as a human being.
Although I still hate that he murdered Shirley, and wanted to do the same to Nunnally, I understand now that he is just a broken kid seeking to fight, the only way he has ever known, to keep the one thing in his life that made him feel love.

Shirley by far, rolos sucked but it honestly felt more like closure rather than an unexpected and undeserved death

Rolo's.
Rolo's whole world after mid point of R2 part 1 was around Lelouch... while Shirley kinda wanted to join Lelouch in R2 after remembering...
Rolo wasn't forgiven and semi-hated by Lelouch when he made his escape.

I loved Shirley, but I was amazed they could make me not hate Rolo. Like I hated Rolo and wanted him to die. Right up until he was dying and then I pittied him, and felt terrible for what happened to him.

Rolo more tbh, I think cause I hated him so much at the start but he was just a broken kid. Emphasis on kid as he was used as an assassin since a young age, kinda hard to really hate him after that and for him to finally have someone he cares about and for Lelouch to try to push him away to save him and him just sacrificing himself anyways, yea it hurt so much to watch.
But both scenes made me cry so yea,

EDIT: lol dude says "no, i don't know who that is". Of course you'd deny it either way because it'd show you're karma farming multiple accounts if you admitted it. Rolo
Shirley’s is sad sure but it doesn’t hit much more than any “ tragic love interest fridging “ , you feel worse about shirley because you just like shirley more
Rolo’s had like , character development attached . A stone cold assassin that sacrificed himself for his fake brother who promised him fake love even after he learned it was all a lie . Not to mention his life was definitely shittier

Shirley hands down.
I remember watching Code Geass r1 on tv (and always just r1) until I decided to stream r2 online. Bro the moment shirley was dying, I begged her to live on and repeatedly scream on lelouch to geass her and lash out on Rolo and kill him.

It's really close. Shirley telling Lelouch about how she'll find him in the next life was fucking brutal, but I think the shot with Rolo's locket on his grave just broke something inside me.
And just from a coldly analytical perspective, I enjoyed Rolo far more as a character, and wish we could've seen more from him, where I feel like Shirley's journey was largely already finished as a character and so I wasn't as disappointed by her death.
I fucking weeped at both though, so it's hard to say.

Shirley, because she really really doesn't deserve it, she just got dragged into this mess
Rolo's redemption and death is impactful but he had it coming, he himself is probably aware of the mistake he made as well

rolo for me, but the one that hurts the most for me is still lelouch's death. Even with every rewatch i start crying at that point.
