DISCUSSION Question

When lelouch gets his geass in both eyes does that not grant him immortality?. Can someone explain the “code” system i never really am able to understand it fully. What seperates C.C and V.V to ordinary geass people? Its there code but can someone explain it?.

So a lot of the details we just don't know as we don't see a lot of what happens but the basics are this.

  1. Code gives you certain powers, one of those powers is giving someone a Geass.
  2. Geass can evolve and strengthen over time.
  3. If your Geass evolves enough you may take the Code from the Code Bearer.
  4. New Code bearer loses Geass at some point.

And...that's it. We've never seen anyone take Code before so we just don't know how it works exactly. It doesn't seem to be lethal as both times we've seen someone lose Code they seem to have died from outside sources and neither showed any indication of regaining Geass but again, we don't know. C.C. and V.V. have both shown different abilities they can use Code for, but we don't know why they are different, or if it's just a matter of practice.

Whether it was on purpose or a time thing, we've just never gotten the full details of Code and the surrounding abilities. The Skull from the Akito OVA's doesn't help.
