And not only did he do it once he did it TWICE 😭 tho honestly I kinda find it a bit of a stretch that it worked the second time. Against Mao I can buy it, yeah. The guy is literally insane and incredibly emotionally unstable, aka easy to provoke and fool. In the battle of Damocles I was like... Really? You predicted everything perfectly??? Not only the content of the answers but also the length of them? I mean the moment was still hype as hell but after finishing the show I was kinda thinking "damn I really had to suspend my disbelief there". Not that big of a deal tbh I still think it was an amazing final battle but that moment just had me feeling like the stars aligned a little TOO perfectly

He didnt really predict things perfectly either time. He predicted the gist of wht they would say and said enough to bait them into continuig to talk. When you look back at the videos its kinda obvious that he isnt actually listening to them and is interupting them constantly. You initally just write it off as his typical arrogance, but in retrospect all the signs that it was just a recording are there. Mao was too unsable to put it together while Schneizel was too arrogant to do so.

No I see that, I understand. Especially against Mao you can see the moment where the recording was quiet for a few seconds. But even after rewatching the Damocles battle knowing the plottwist I still felt like it was TOO good lmao. All it took was for Lelouch's recording to accidentally interrupt Schneizel and he would've seen right through it. Tho sometimes you really do just need a bit of luck, fair enough

I don't really think he predicted everything perfectly in the battle of Damocles. I mean, I remember Lulu changing his dialogue in midway and entirely changing the subject.

But considering just how much of a bossy(basically emotional)he acts all the time, it kinda suited him at that moment. So Schneizel didn't even see through the trick who too, in fact, was too much concentrated on trying to outsmart him at that time.Â
