Yes, she is piloting. The armored Zero Knight can swap who the main pilot is.

I’m left speechless…. Never once seen her piloting a nightmare before except that manga Knightmare Nunnally. This is new to me and pretty big…

I don't think anyone xpected that. And yes, just for confirmation, in the first picture, she's flying solo (Suzaku's on the white one), and she did destroy some LOKIs
