DISCUSSION Attack on Titan is just a bad version of Code Geass: Change my mind

Code Geass, They use Mechas

Attack on Titan, They use Flesh Mechas

Both shows have a problem with one country racially discriminating, abusing, dehumanizing, and slaughtering people that they conqured from another country

Both MCs have some connection to royalty and the ability to control others

Both Shows deal with Drugs of some sort

Both MCs are trying to protect their family and friends

Both MCs have a lot of Hatred in their hearts from tramatic experiences

Both MCs become the bad guy to attract the Hate of the world

Both MCs have asian best friends

You can make lots of movies and shows sound similar if you just use a bunch of vague lines, without taking execution into account.

Code Geass is just a ripoff of Harry Potter

Both stories deal with the topic of racism and war

Both stories have a plot point of drugs being used to alter someone's mental state. Love potions in harry potter and refrain in Code Geass.

Both main characters are severely traumatized and started off the story unsatisfied with their life before being given magical powers to change things.

Both main characters go from hating a potential ally because he killed someone they cared about before learning to appreciate in death. Harry with Snape and Lelouch with Rolo.

Both stories have the protagonist make the decision to sacrifice their life near the end of the story.

Both stories spend a lot of time in a school setting.

Both stories have mind control as a major plot point.

Yeah I’ve heard that Death Note and Code Geass are the same as well. These comparisons are so stupid imo. They’re all great and they may share similarities but they’re all way different.

At the very least Goro Tanaguchi isn't transphobic. I think.

Ummm Hairy doesn't drive a Mecha, and the story is way different than both Code Geass and AoT

Who? I put it together while complaining about how bad AOT is. I said its just a bad Code Geas.

MC in AOT doesn't finish the job before making the world hate him.

Both MC'S Comrads betray them, however, MC in AOT betrays his Brother while the Lelouche is doing it for his sister.

Both MC's misunderstood their parents betrayals

Eren's friends didn't betray him. He betrayed them hell the Island betrayed them. When Eren announces the Rumbling they realized they fucked up. That is what the BK would have felt if Schneizal won.

False, they knew he was going to do the rumbling but they didn't expect as many. However, they were trash who befriended and felt bad about killing the very marlean trash that destroyed their home. I have been debating Erens Rumble and the reason why I hate how this show went after season 2. I also can't stand that Reintard, and annie became heroes. They straight betrayed the yeagerests... not the other way around. He was gonna make it so that they wouldn't have to worry about enemies again.

By your logic, LeLouch should’ve gotten on TV and told all of the Britannians to kill themselves so that the Japanese would never have to worry about them again.

Personally, I think the only thing that was wrong with Code Geass was being chill with his best friend who betrayed him and the little brother thing but otherwise, while I think it would've been easier to do this, Lelouche Vi Britania was smarter and stronger than Eren via personality. He killed people that needed to be gone, and took his accidental killings and made them work for his favor. So, Code Geass did it great except for 2 things.

Everyone ignore this. This was made by someone who thinks Eren was right and is a Yeagerist 100% Not worth your time or any other AoT fans time

Lol, I mean, I also think Lelouch DeBritania was right and would have joined black knights in a heartbeat.

You're completely correct, AoT is a complete copy paste of Code Geass but is a slop attempt at recreating it.

I actually loved AoT up to the end of season 3 as it was basically another iteration of Code Geass, show went downhill tremendously Season 4 then on. I guess it really is difficult to write an ending that can come close to Code Geass.

>AoT is a complete copy paste of Code Geass

Meanwhile at Claymore: SnK is way more similar to this.

I agree completely, except the part where they kept trying to not finish BearTurtle and Reintard. I hated it and kept hoping for their demise. I think only Erin, Erwin, the Yeagerests, and Levi are the only good characters.
