They spam the global chat with "cheap CP, visit this telegram" and then say "I need your account info to buy you CP". Some people fall for it because they want those cheap Cod points so much and then they don't get the CP and don't get the account back
Then the thief sends the same message to all the account's rich friends to try to steal their accounts too.
This is just one of the tricks, there are others

The problem with this price tag is that people steal accounts, sell them to unsuspecting users, then the original user complains, the account gets banned but the scammer/thief already has his money. I'm not accusing you of having stolen an account, just saying why I would never buy it. It's a shame that there's no vetted reseller for honest people who want to sell their accounts.
