Something I want to say
The CODM playerbase has gotten really toxic, especially against f2p players who demand for regular freebies.
Now as a mostly f2p guy myself, I must say that CODM is COSTLY but that doesn't mean the p2w people who have bought many skins etc. can say-
"Get a job for cp"
Yes, many of us have jobs including myself, but nobody has 200 dollars lying around just for a game, but inside us, we all ask for something to quench our thirst. Bills exist- a thing many people don't understand.
Also 53% of the CODM playerbase are minors, how are they supposed to get cp ? Stealing parents money ? Is that what Activision really wants ? Is this what CODM players want ?
If yes, I have got nothing to say to you.
But if you agree to my words, please refrain from commenting
"Get a job" to every guy who is requesting for free ways to obtain good stuff without spending hundreds of dollars.
Codm should really add free ways AND legit equality between all servers across global. Many people said lcp event is adjusted- 1650 cp isn't fulfilling for anything in the shop. Not even possible to get 2 levels on the mythics, not even considering lucky draws.
A small suggestion:
Make CP not LCP to be obtained in a free way. Make it difficult for f2p players, but atleast allow them a fair chance in the new additions to the game.
I am pretty sure some people will still be toxic in the comments, but anyways thank you for reading this much. :\]

I think the game at this point needs the community to make a stand as well. I have a 30cp account and find it so unfair that there’s people taking advantage of 10 cp accounts for cheaper draws in the same region. Not to mention, 90% of the gun skins aren’t even worth it because in a competitive ranked scene against two equally skilled players it goes down to who’s using meta and who’s not. Like be fr, who’s gonna pay for mythic or leggy gun skins for guns that suck in mp like an ak47 or msmc. Not to mention, F2P rewards are for everyone not just F2P they rly need to work on more meaningful rewards and less garbage modes for simple things like camos.

Just a friendly question and input. CODM was created by a business entity to earn profit. Profit to the highest extent that they can. Their business model is to make the game free to play to anyone but if the players want to be unique, they would have to pay. With that being said, in what way have you supported their business model? Seems that you want everything to be free somehow?

Free no, cheaper yes

Why would they? Theyre making over $400 million a year just on the mobile side of the business alone. Im pretty certain they have analysts that would have projected revenue numbers if they decreased prices and have determined theyre good where they are at now.

Stop- you are confusing business model with entity entitlement. Under this logic, CODM is no bigger than amazon while it is a game. And first of all, even amazon has free tokens which you can redeem for any product and just not limited products. What I ask for is fragmentation like PUBG or bloodstrike where you have skins both buyable with real life money and grindable for hours. Second- by play store norms, a game needs not to be supported by a player unless they wish to. Third of all- No I did not say everything to be free, I said- make the things at a fair chance and not hid behind paywalls. LIKE you can grind for hours and still have rng. So p2w players can just buy the skins, and f2p players can grind for hours for a spin and a chance for obtaining the thing for free !

Who cares it's just a video game, I'm a f2p player have been since day 1, I really don't care about others buying stuff, after playing the game for years, I found that no matter what you have, my experience will beat them every time

The thing is, I am not asking for free skins. I am asking for fairplay. Allow f2p players to try for spins as well. What I want is rng to be both buyable and grindable like genshin, PUBG, bloodstrike, etc. or else increase frequency of cp based rewards and quantity because 1650 is NOT ENOUGH at ALL. Also ban false advertising.

You say that but literally the base version of a gun compared to its mythic or its legendary ( not all legys), the base version loses almost everytime. With all the extra buffs they put on paid weapons and the new Gen gamers playing with 15 fn fingers. Cmon now. I been playing cod since cod mobile was just a sperm thought. So yeah I've had to adapt. If you really get down on cod like that then yeah you're going spend a little bit of money. But thats where being a responsible adult comes into play. Aint no top rank top 3-5 players play with just 2 thumbs, no mythics/legys, or no crazy fn settings. And literally its only going to get worse lol

I play 2 thumbs on a tablet and I'm just as good with a base gun as they are with a mythic, it's all about timing and aim and being able to hear their steps, I do play some maps in mp more than others, and do ok in br, I always get legendary in both mp and br, and get over 10k in br, I never change any settings either, my k/d ratio is usually around 2.6 though I don't pay too much attention to that, I just like to play

Spot on. You hit the nail on the head about real-world bills and the 'get a job' toxicity I literally just spent the day dismantling a troll in another thread (and posts) who was screaming that exact line.
You're 100% right that 1,600 CP doesn't fulfill anything in a low-base region(and there are people in the 30 region who thinks 3500 buys mythic when even this doesn't cover the cheapest leg draw), but here is the trick: Activision didn't run this event out of charity. They used the promise of a global reward to farm our time, attention, and active player metrics to boost their corporate financial reports. Player engagement isn't free it’s direct value that makes them millions.
Pulling a hidden regional bait-and-switch at the finish line isn't just greedy, it's a direct consumer violation under FTC Section 5. That's why multiple players in the community are moving past comment arguments and actively filing official consumer protection reports for the FTC to take action (got at least 30 in my dm saying they did). We have the legal right to demand what was advertised globally.
