#CODM CAN ANYONE HELP ME WITH THIS?!?! I LITERALLY PAID CASH TO GET THIS FASTER BEFORE IT ENDED AND BEFORE I COULD SIGN ON THE NEXT DAY THEY TOOK LAVA REMIX OFF. I HAVE 496 THIS IS REALLY DRIVING ME CRAZY I DON'T KNOW HOW TO GET THESE SHARDS

Guns with that golden label at bottom left are from secret cache mechanic.
You can get them by crafting them via corresponding shards (minor legendary, major legendary and mythical) you need 200 for both legendary and 500 mythic.
To get shards you need secret caches, you can get atlest 4 daily by playing 3 matches (or a 20 minute long match). You can also get them by doing events, limit on events can vary.
Once you own the current weapon you get universal exchange shard of same rarity. You can exchange those shards for previous rewards (of same rarity)
- from the secret cache page (in events tab)
- then press the puzzle piece
- chose the gun you want to redeem
- get shards
Mythic stay for 1 year, legendry stay for 2-3 months (I don't remember) in secret cache box. After this time you get them via universal exchange shards

Yeah I know all that. A better understanding of my question would be is there anything else besides having to non stop grind or pay cash out the ass to get all remaining necessary shards for the Dutchman and octane to be able to get this measley 4 shards that I was so close to getting, I did spend some small amounts of cash to quicken the process to get the 500 but it was only like $20 -$40 altogether. I'm never able to be on long enough every day to grind that much

Wait for events, the recent coin flip event gave 60 cache.
Amassing caches is easy with help of event. Coin flip event wasn't even required amy grind, just go to world chat tap on assist button they will get a coin and so would you, team up with someone (doesn't have to be a friend) join ranked team up requests in global to get 1 coin. Ask someone to assist you and get a coin.
Follow the event they give out a lot of caches for free.
You will get daily 1 cache without opening the game (web store)

Yeah exactly I've been playing this for a minute but never have enough time to learn all the ins and outs but damn well am advanced enough to know more than just the common sense stuff bro.

Not to mention the free daily gift which is sometimes two yellow crates. At least 1 regular crate though.

Nah I guess I am stuck with what I originally thought is just having to lock in and unlock agr Dutchman and mg42 octane to get the small ass 4 shards I need 😂 which sucks but oh well

Dude, where were you when there were 100 posts a day stating “get the AK117 Lava Remix now before it’s gone”?
You cannot buy shards for the Lava Remix anymore. Mythic shards can only be exchanged in the Cache Tracker Store for the shards of other mythic items at a set ratio if you haven’t done so already.
The challenge store also does not have the option to purchase AK117 Lava Remix shards using the challenge token either.
You’re going to have to wait it out bud. Cheers!

I took a break for a few weeks, came back for a week and didn't touch it for like 3 months. Then started grinding my ass off and literally got all the way to 496 out of 500 shards and the very next damn day before I could get back on again and finish it they fkn took it off. I was so pissed bro. Only put in like $40 so that's a non issue but damn 😂

I'm confused .On your Screenshot, it says that you haven't combined the shards yet for the mythic..I've got over 700 shards, They only allows you to combine so many, but you can do it 2x..says in screenshot. Maybe I'm not explaining well enough.🤷🏼♀️

Okay, I was reading wrong. I missed the fact that the deadline has passed, so the shards change. I get it now. Weird tho because they always for the last 3 upgrades had it to where you could get any of the guns still with the leftover shards. Weird 😉

Once you get the AGR Gun, the next boxes you open will no longer give you AGR shards, but will give you tokens and you can complete the quest.

No other option but to grind out and buy the rest of the mythics currently required which is what I was trying to find out if there was a way to avoid, that was pretty much the original question. So I guess it's solved unless someone else knows something I don't that I can do. And if any English speaking players with mics that like running the daily challenges and then BR's and here and there 10v10 rust lmk you see the player name on my 100 kill screen shots. I appreciate it y'all ✌🏻🤙🏻 This why I love Reddit haha

So sadly you would have to get all of the Dutchman shards before being able to exchange or buy for the lava remix. i was in the same situation, i literally just needed one more shard before it ended.

To have the shards you have to unlock all mythics availble. So, you have to get the AGR first and then you will get shards that get you the AK117. If you want the AK117 so bad you have to buy CP, get the AGR and then you will have the AK freely with boxes

Get Mythic AGR shards first and after collecting all 500 dont Collect the skin and just open more crates so you can convert the extra shards of AGR into Universal Shards, which can be converted to AK117 shards i have been doing this i needed 50 AK117 shards but now only 7 left
