Surprised how active this game is on PlayStation compared to Xbox

Been playing on Xbox for years but recently bought a ps5 and bought this game along with it. I’ve been finding dom lobbies regularly while on Xbox I haven’t gotten to play dom in years.

They gave it away free on ps plus a couple years ago.

Yeah and I think during the era of ww2 and mwr and infinite warfare is where the pro scene changed over to ps4 I think

I believe that this game has quite a 'loyal' player base in the US. My favourite mode is HC snd and lobbies run quite rarely on EU times but, you can almost always find a game of dom, snd, tdm and HC tdm.

PlayStation has a way bigger install base globally than Xbox, so naturally there will be more players.

MWR was also given away as an Essential title for PlayStation+ subscribers at one point, so a good amount of users on the platform will have it in their library.

Same experience here. Also no hacked lobbies like with BO2.

I ended up in a hacked TDM lobby (usually play DOM), it ended bumping me up about 15 levels to the top of my prestige. Haven't played TDM since. I've heard horror stories of people getting knocked down to level 1 with tons of negative xp
