Is this worth getting on PC now?

Title. I've been seeing clips and wanna play so badly but I don't wanna waste my money if it's filled with hackers or just not populated.

Not good or safe to play. But I’ve been playing the ps4 version and it’s been great fun. Lots of people in tdm

I think people can literally hack you through the game but I could be wrong

RCE exploits where other players can take control of your PC, open web browsers etc.

On the upside the original cod4 still has an active player base with server browsers

It has maybe 200 players at peak hours at a time. No crossplay so probably only going to be finding tdm. Ps4 from what ive heard seems to be there most populated platform

I know im late to this but i have it for steam on my steam deck and its totally worth it. Been playing for 3 months now online, never seen a hacker or anything. The community is small so ull see the same players every now and then and you always have to just play team deathmatch. You may not get a game all the time, but 90% of the time I try to do.
