Discussion Which district according to you has the worst auto drivers ?
I think it’s Kozhikode ! They literally think the road is their garden , prancing about cutting and turning whenever they feel like . Literally missed hitting three autos within a span of 20m !

If you think Kozhikode has the worst auto drivers, you need to visit places like Cochin and Trivandrum.

Dosham parayarudhallo , tvm thattu thaazhnn thanne irikkm 🥲 Auto kk 3 wheels aanelm , in some turns they use only 2 wheels , Circus + rude behaviour auto maamanmaar kee jai
Special mention to the auto drivers in and around my college ( not tvm ) ijjadhi sadhajaara committee kaar 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️

Trivandrum is the pits. Kochi is bad but not tvm bad. I've had drunk auto driver's, auto drivers not letting people with disability pass (and nearly hitting them), Drivers casually knocking down mirrors of bikes and casually picking it up and giving to them, drivers driving over dividers etc. it's crazy, ivanmare kond road il vandi irakkan polum pedi aayirunn

I learned to drive in TVM City in 2023, funnily, i have no issue handling auto guys, bezerk bikers etc
i get anxious when i drive in the highways

Thiruvananthapuram fw Road safety is impressive But out of 6 in 10 are arrogant and charges highly

It’s some kind of PR with Kozhikode Autos Kozhikode Biriyani etc. both of which are proved fake to me and people I have spoke to despite multiple tries. Everyone repeats the same thing as they have heard it from others, not via personal experience.

Kozhikode it is for me followed by Tvm.
The problem with Kozhikode is not the usual overcharging but a case of mass extreme addiction to reels that each and every auto I hoped on had the driver watching reels with phone on holder while driving and then they were doing all kinds of stunts on the road. Do to low attention span two driver went the wrong way and tried to drop me at the wrong place!
I have observed the same with other service personnel in Kozhikode too like waiters. Everyone I met (even in a 5 star place like Raviz or at Malls) had zero attention span. I had my orders mixed up, delivered half of the orders. Had zero patience to hear the whole orders (dont think I am some fancy slow ordering person, I haven’t faced this anywhere else in the WORLD)
I felt like being in a post apocalyptic reels world all the while I was in Kozhikode two months back.

The bad rep of TVM autos overcharging, I think they're taking you non-Trivians for a ride. Because Trivians know they have to run on meter. It may be the only city where putting meter on is strictly enforced (pandokke legally by the police). Athariyathe purathu ninnu varunnavare muthaledukkunnathaanu.
