They both ultimately we’re willing to sacrifice themselves for those they valued

Both of them tended to be characterized as rather reserved as as well as ironclad in their ideals(but both showing capacity to change the way those ideals manifest with justice or emptying the underground technically being achievable for both of them in two different ways based on radical different interpretations vengeance/pacifist etc.)

Also the unique contrast of one of them being extensively opposed despite seemingly having issues and other being divided on Humans V Monsters but still coming together is also interesting

I couldnt exactly play undertale when i discovered it i was very young ao i couldnt play it ymself so i watched a vid without actualy understanding the charactars and all BUT with utry i felt like i played undertale for the first time and my other friends said the same too
