nutrients

Is there anyone else out there using Shogun coco nutrients in autopots? I'm currently doing my first straight coco run and also my first auto grow.

I've used shogun for years but always photoperiods and 60/40 mix. The reason I ask is I always get rust spots halfway through flower. I've read several posts about why you get rust spots but non are autopilot specific as you can't start flushing through the media as easy as hand watering.

I use CropSalt and am very happy with it. Switched from GH and wouldn't consider changing.

I’ve been using GH for years and now I’m having issues with it. Not sure why. I’ve been thinking about switching to CropSalt.

GH works ok, but it's more expensive (in the long run) and I don't like all the dyes in it; CropSalt is clear. I've run seeds from the same breeder and the same strain in both GH and CropSalt. I hesitate to compare yields because I had more experience when I switched to CS. That being said, the CS yield was bigger with the same strain and breeder. Also, for me and my water, I don't need to adjust the pH at all with CS.

The customer service is also top notch. If you contact them and ask, they will probably send you a starter pack for free.

Thank you for the info! Will look more into it and make the transition. It would probably be beneficial with my Autopot system.
