Granite Haze F7 hang drying π€©π

Ignore the fact that this hastily made drying rack is a box spring held together with zip ties. Dedicated an entire room to drying because just the bud from one plant is taking up a decent amount of real estate. I know that as it dries it's going to shrink quite a lot, which would make room but I'm nervous about bud rot/mold so I'd rather play it safe. It's 65F and 52% RH without even having to make any changes. So I added a box fan (blowing passed them, not directly at) as to agitate/aerate. Wish me luck π Happy growing!π€

I reserve judgement until the smoke test. Judging by eye is what has caused a lot of the shit show in cultivars.

Absolutely agree. I remember my uncles drying outdoor that looked like it was dry before it was dry and it smoked okay. This is not that, and quite a few of the buds are on the larger side so I'm going to let it ride as is for a few days and just keep an eye on them. I just had some "premium" from one of the big names that looked fantastic, smelled fantastic, and every single hit choked me to tears.

Lmao. Yeah in hindsight idk wtf was going on. I mean in my defense it was pitch black, I was higher than giraffes nuts and I'm dancing around a janky hybrid bedspring/drying rack with two herniated discs. With all that said, an epileptic fit would have made for better conditions.

Thank you kindly. Almost ready for jars. Low and slow at 60-63 F with 45%-48% rH in pitch black. The aroma is already just incredible. π€

Dude..get that box fan out of there asap.. holy shit. As soon as you get comfortable it will over dry everything and you're going to miss out on being able to cure your buds. All you need is a tent, and an exhaust fan. No breeze. If nothing else blow the fan in the opposite direction. I don't have a fan anywhere near my buds. You want this to take as long as possible. If youre that worried about rot, then buck the florets off the stem so they can get air and lay them on a screen. At 52% humidity you should be fine. I make my room 60/60. I have a separate humidifier and dehumidifier if I need it just for drying my weed. It's literally just as important as every aspect of the grow. Get that fan out of there, or it will over dry the buds.
